Petaluma citizens will get the chance to vote for their favorite locally-produced Petaluma Community Access (PCA) television programs during the Second Annual “Lumanarian Awards.”
Anyone can vote with no obligation by visiting www.pca.tv/vote in any or all of these six categories:
· Religion & Spirituality
· Local Politics & Social Advocacy
· Petaluma Color & Culture
· Cooking, Arts, & Entertainment
· Education & Schools
· PCA In House
One vote per person in each category is allowed. Voting is open September 1st and runs through September 30th.
“Voting for your favorite shows is a way of saying thank you for the great television our producers work so hard making for you to watch. You can keep the spirit of PCA alive this way—until you start making some television yourself!” says PCA Executive Director John Bertucci.
The winners will be announced and trophies awarded at the PCA annual members meeting on October 4th at 7:00 pm at the Petaluma Historical Museum, 20 Fourth Street, Petaluma, CA 94952.
“We’re happy to provide the opportunity to all citizens of greater Petaluma to cast their votes for their favorite PCA television shows,” adds PCA Board of Directors Vice-Chair Eric J. Adams. “The awards honor the best of home-grown videos on Petaluma Community Access television.”
PCA is a non-profit public access television station providing community, educational and governmental programming on Comcast cable channels 26, 27, and 28 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99.
