The next edition of PCA’s popular Introduction to Final Cut Pro X class, with guest instructor Dan Villalva, will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 9 am – 4 pm at the PCA studio, 205 Keller St, Suite 102, Petaluma.

Guest instructor Dan Villalva brings a wealth of post-production experience to this workshop. A longtime friend of public access media and expert in video post-production, Dan was most recently the Executive Director of the Community Media Center of Santa Rosa.

Whether you are just getting started with video editing, or are an experienced user ready to switch over to X, Petaluma Community Access has hands-on learning opportunities for you.

Glean valuable skills and information from instructor Dan Villalva, former Executive Director of the Community Media Center of Santa Rosa. This course in video post-production will give you the foundation you need to be off and running with video editing in no time at all.

Registration for this course is open to PCA members for just $60. The non-member fee is $100.

Now would be an opportune moment to join PCA. For $1.44 per week (annual fee of $75, with discounted membership fee of $50 for students, seniors and lower-income folks) you can have access to all that PCA has to offer – audio & video equipment and training, workshops, classes & other events, editing software and training and more – plus you would be providing vital support for southern Sonoma County’s public access, media literacy center, right here in the heart of Petaluma.

Join Us on Thursday, January 19 for KPCA’s Third Stakeholders Meeting

kpca-logo-transparent-bkgrndPetaluma Community Access will be hosting its third Stakeholders Meeting for KPCA FM radio 103.3 at 6 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the PCA studio, 205 Keller St, Suite 102 (downstairs). 
We are currently testing the online, live-streaming utility which will allow anyone, anywhere with access to the internet to listen to KPCA radio 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
This means KPCA could be on the air in a matter of days! Broadcast on the 103.3 FM frequency will follow asap.
The Jan. 19 KPCA Stakeholders Meeting is open to anyone and everyone in the community with an interest in Petaluma’s first new radio station of the 21st Century. You’re all stakeholders! PCA staff and members, KPCA producers & volunteers and the general public are encouraged to attend and help shape the course of our new radio station. We cannot do this without you.
If you cannot attend at 6 pm, you’re welcome to stop by to discuss the latest KPCA news anytime after 3 pm that day, but we’ll be waiting to get down to the official business of this community radio meeting at 6 pm.
